Sunset in Pineridge

The Toll Canyon mountain range provides the perfect frame for the magnificent sunsets we get to witness on a regular basis throughout the summer.  Aiden likes the way his voice echoes through the neighborhood at sunset.  He likes to yell "Hi!" at the top of his lungs to passers-by (present or imaginary.)

The mountain is on fire, figuratively.  (Let's hope this is the only variety of fire we see here.)

I've been taking most of my pictures on manual these days, thanks to several online photography classes.  I never could've taken these back in the day without a flash.  Thanks, Flying Photo School!  It was dusk, and the only sources of light were one small porch light and the fading sunset.

We love our peaceful life up in the mountains.  Wouldn't trade it for all the beaches in the world.
