Just One Saturday

I caught some winner shots a couple of weekends ago.  Aiden loves "tickles," or soft-touch massage, if you want to get technical.  (He is his father's son.)  I, on the other hand, am so freaking ticklish that this type of massage literally makes me want to throw up (I think Liam has my disease.)  Aiden makes the SWEETEST faces when he's getting tickled, and usually throws his head back, droopy-eyed, open-mouthed in a state of total relaxation.  We love it!

"Saturday is a special day; it's the day we get ready for Sunday..."

I absolutely love these six with his faux hawk!  Don't mess with the do'.

And my sweet Liam finally got a hair cut.  Doesn't he look like a BOY?  I mean, he just does not look like a baby anymore and it's killing me.  What am I going to do when he's 15?

Starfish

Liam is in swimming lessons for the second season in a row, but this is his first year without his parents in the pool with him.  He is in the Starfish class.  BIG guy.  He's learning how to float, hold his breath under water, kick and how to use his survival instincts to his advantage.  He's loving it, except when someone (ahem...Molly Jackson...ahem) brings a glass bottle to the pool and it breaks by the pool and then class is canceled...yeah, not so fun.

This is the "class is canceled but I already got wet" look.

"Who brings glass to the pool?"  Our friend, that's who.

Our next visit was much more successful.  Liam is a good listener and excellent tadpole, except when he's making mischief by instigating splash wars with older girls...

Miss Crystal is the best.

Liam likes the new Nemo slide, but he's so used to the huge yellow slide at the Kamas Pool that slides this small are small-time.

Don't worry, Aiden.  We'll do a Parent-Tot class one of these days.  Let's focus on walking for the time being...

Who, me?

Aiden loves destroying anything Liam meticulously puts together...train tracks, block towers, animal parades, etc.  Liam enjoys it less-so (understatement.)  But how can you get angry at this sweet, cherubic face?  Deep down, I think Liam feels the same.  Or not.

"It wasn't me!  The doggie did it.  Oh wait, we don't have a doggie, you say?"

Mine

THIS guy...

And THESE guys...

Were the best Valentine's a girl could ask for.  I'm absolutely twitterpated.

Notice Aiden's snarl below.  This is his new favorite expression, giving legitimacy to the meaning of his name, "little fire."  Don't be distracted by the innocent face; he's got spunk.

I hope your Valentine's Day was as love-filled as mine.
