Pajama Day & Newpark

On the second to last day of preschool (June 2), the kids got to come in their pajamas, which cut roughly ten minutes off of Liam's morning routine.  That evening, we headed to the Newpark Town Center to let Liam try out his new bike.  We showed up just in time for the conclusion of a community mile run, so their was fun music playing and an energetic atmosphere.  I heart PC!

Flowers for Mamma

Every time the boys go on a hike, Liam, without fail, brings me a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers (bugs included.)  This will never get old.  How did I get so lucky?

And sweet Aiden loves to help Mamma by doing repairs around the house.

Creative Play

In our home, pretend play is HUGE.  My boys play pirates, Iron Chefs, garbage men, cowboys, super-heroes...whatever they can think of, for hours at a time.  As a result, T.V. time is naturally minimal and I feel like they are making excellent use of their days since they learn through play, after all.  I love to watch them get totally engrossed in their imaginary worlds and it makes me miss childhood!  This first picture is my favorite I've ever taken.  My dad calls it "Saturday Evening Post."

We work hard, play hard and sleep hard around here.
