Blast Ball

Why blast ball has not caught on as a suitable replacement for traditional baseball, I cannot say.  Instead of three bases, there is one, and it honks when you jump on it.  What could be better?!  Liam and his Dadda got to take a stab at it early this summer.  This was Liam's first real exposure to baseball and Wes's first real exposure to coaching little people.  For years, I've heard how it's Wes's dream to coach his kids teams, but without fail, he came home from blast ball practice whining, "Coaching 3 and 4 year olds is HAAAARRRD."  Haha, try staying at home all day with them.

Great out fielding, Liam. (or whateveryoucallit)

Aiden had fun on the sidelines.

Sometimes he walks around like this saying "I'm an OLD MAN!"

Liam's team, The Mets, got to play our friend Mark Kimble's team.  Fierce competition.

One. Two. Three.  Play ball!

Yes, whenever you coach the little ones, you absolutely have to park all your expectations at the door before walking in...just have fun. The rules and talent will all come later. Bless you Wes for undertaking the challenge...
