Are we bad parents if we allowed our toddlers and infants to stay up until midnight on New Year's Eve? Possibly. Was it SO fun to have a bunch of our friends over to ring in 2013? Definitely. Did we pay for it the next morning. Absolutely. Thanks to the Briggs, Jacksons, Olsons, and Nielsens for making our NYE way more exciting than usual!
Miss Emma taught Liam the Can-Can dance, which happens to be one of his very favorite tunes.
The Briggs family and the male half of the Jackson family stayed the night. The idea was that we would put all of the kids to bed and be able to relax and play games/ watch movies without being distracted by a) the late hour and b) cranky kids. Peter and ZuZu did their jobs and went to sleep at a reasonable hour, but the Brothers Charles didn't want the party to go on without them.
