Thanksgiving with Friends

With the Rawsons out of state and the Charles celebration starting Friday, we discovered the day before Thanksgiving that we didn't have any plans for the actual holiday.  Taking advantage of an opportunity to have friends over, I asked a couple of families if they had plans.  The Kimbles were having Mark's brother's family over and they graciously invited us as well.  I was worried we were imposing, but they insisted that it would enhance rather than detract from their day.  I know one thing; the kiddos' day was certainly enhanced by Mr. Wes's storytelling skeelz.  Thank you for the invite, Kimble Family!  We had a wonderful time.

Liam is a fan of the indoor park in Crew's family room.

Meet the newest member of the Kimble family...Redford!  What a looker.

It's all fun and games until someone gets thrown up on.

We spent a few minutes freezing, I mean playing at the Matt Knoop park while dinner cooked itself.

Now let's just hold off a few years, baby Aiden.  Enjoy having plentiful brain cells.

Mom, Dad, it's freezin' out here!  What is wrong with you?  Taking a baby out in this kind of weather...

Our gracious dinner hosts, Lauren and Mark.

The boys played a never-ending game of shut-out and had a blast.

Happy (late) Thanksgiving!  Much to be thankful for these days...

Ah, I was so relieved that Aiden has been given "a few years" before taking on the sport of football...music to my ears!
