Father's Day at Jordanelle 2012

As you can see, I am habitually at least one month behind in my blog posting (postage?)  Last month, we enjoyed a Father's Day evening on Utah's version of "the beach" at Jordanelle Reservoir.  Papa John had to have felt pretty blessed to be surrounded by 3/4 of his children and a busload of grandkids.  That's what the day is all about!  Thanks to Tracie for all of these beautiful photos...sorry I'm a thief.

The kids (plus Wes) were pretty much in heaven.  These will be summer memories they'll probably remember for a very long time.  All except poor baby Aiden, whose Daddy was set on dipping his feet in the cold cold water.  Why does my husband insist on torturing each of my children at beach settings?

We sure are going to miss the Kevin Charles family.  They recently moved to San Diego after a looooooong waiting period.  The nerve!  We can't wait to see them again in September when we venture out of Utah for the first time as a family of four.  P.S. Could you just lick Aiden like a lollypop?
