The Easter bunny made a stop at our house in April and left us with some very colorful loot! My favorite Easter present, though, was of course our new little spring chicken, Aiden. The weekend went like this: dinner at the Charles' home on Saturday, Easter morning baskets and egg hunt, church, dinner at the Rawson's home. Since Aiden missed St. Patrick's Day by a few hours, this was his first holiday. He got a LOT of attention and partied it up like a champ. Please forgive the Mamma who just gave birth for forgetting to dye eggs this year...Sacrilege!
Liam decided that the immediate satisfaction of eating whatever his eggs held far surpassed saving treats for later...
Aiden enjoyed a sponge bath. The rest of us would have liked to enjoy a sponge bath.
Liam knows how to be reverent during prayers. You should hear him say one; he is thankful literally for every thing.
We have awesome neighbors. They happen to be Lithuanian. Liuda hand-painted these gorgeous hard-boiled eggs and called us with instructions on how to do a Lithuanian Easter tradition. One person challenges another and the two crack their eggs together, tip to tip. The person's egg that cracks loses and then the third person gets to go egg-to-egg with the previous winner. I chose the red egg and beat both Wes and Liam. I guess red is NOT dead. So fun. I think we have ourselves a new Easter tradition, folks!
