Summer Wrap 2010

Well, it's that time of year again.  The trees have taken on various shades of red, orange and gold, but they will lose their color before you can say "chains required."   As always in PC, summer was a dream and over in a blink.  It was a little slice of heaven watching Liam experience the season for the first time.

The end of summer was: Liam chilling at the Farmer's Market...

Charles family dinners and games...

Liam really wanting to test his "Sorry" skills...

Fantasy Football insanity...

Bonding with cousins...

Wes' 39th birthday scavenger hunt...

Wes' first surprise birthday EVER (shame on you, Charles family!)...Friends and family all came to support Wes at his "At Least You're Not 40" party at New York Pizza Company.  He didn't suspect a thing!

And the full rainbow showed up on cue, just as I had planned and just because I love him...

An August full of Charles birthdays (second to the most wonderful time of the year, April)...

Bonding with MoMo and Grandpa at a Newpark Concert...

My two handsome boys...

Crocodile Dundee...

Hiking in East Millcreek Canyon on Labor Day...

Liam making friends with a tree...

Mama embracing nature...

And Grammy embracing it too...

My husband and I making fools of ourselves at the Snowbird Oktoberfest doing the traditional German egg-between-the-forehead dance. (We got beat out by an elderly couple...real Germans, of course.)

Liam developing his personality...

Sam's 12th birthday...

Piano lessons.  It's never too early to start...

Bonding with the Wilton family...

Learning to crawl on all fours...

And some final warm afternoons at the park...

I know, Liam.  We all feel the same about summer ending.

Great shots of baby Liam...just great shots. That pic of what you refer to as "Insane Fantasy Football" is the last shot we shall ever have of that group. No doubt we will all be in it again next year, but there were too many move outs, in addition to the fam in KC.

PS. I need to comment more frequently than just once at the end. Any way to fix that.
