One of my fellow SLVA altos recently wrote a short poem to commemorate Christmas tree decorating with a toddler (she is not only an excellent vocalist and mom, but also a research SCIENTIST…no big deal…). I thought it was so clever, it deserved a posting.
A picture and a song.

♫ O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree!
Thy lovely decoration
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
A toddlers pure temptation.
Thou ornament, thou hanging ball,
Thy nemesis is three feet tall.
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely is thy top half! ♫
