We snuck Easter in this year between birthdays and packing for our Bahamas trip which was the following day. I hope Jesus didn't take it as a slight. I think we even managed to fit in all of our Easter traditions! We dyed and painted eggs at Grammy's house:
The Easter Bunny brought us all some excellent loot:
Grammy and Papa joined us Easter morning despite Dad's gimpiness. He tore his Achilles tendon on a mogul at Deer Valley. Another long recovery and Dad, you'd BETTER take Mom on her dream vacation after she's taken care of you for the THIRD time in seven years. Stop injuring yourself, do yoga and start drinking green smoothies!
We even had an Easter Story Egg Hunt complete with eggs numbered 1-12 containing passages from the scriptures telling the story of Christ's resurrection. I'm pretty sure Liam has been having nightmares about it ever since.
We went to church:
And then that evening, we celebrated Dominic's 2nd Alphabet Birthday Bash at Aunty Tracie's house. She worked so hard; it was darling. And we weren't stressed at ALL that it was the night before our vacation and we hadn't packed...
Happy Easter, and Happy Birthday, Dom!
